Ladies Night: Men Welcome is a female dominated variety show featuring NY’s top, Stand Ups, Storytellers, Sketch performers and You! Complete with an audience talent show, free candy, and tons of surprises!

It’s taken more attempts than I’d really like to share, but I’ve finally gotten into a 601 Advanced Performance class at the UCB! Now I can finally live my lifelong dream of forcing friends to stay up way too late to watch me do improv!

I kid, I kid. In all seriousness, this is embarrassingly big for me and I couldn’t be more excited. My class is amazing and the forms (yes, that’s “forms” plural) that Erik Tanouye has come up with are awesome. I’d try to explain them here but I’ve learned my lesson after forcing everyone I talked to over the weekend to hear me describe them in deeeeeepth.

Anyway, our first show is tonight and you should all come to it! I’ll be all super smiley and stuff and that’ll be fun because I’m a grumpy asshole usually. Woo!

Experience the challenge of an improvised ANAGRAM

An improvised show where all the parts are repeatedly rearranged to find out what happens when they’re put back together in new arrangements. What can you make of the dissembled pieces of people’s lives? 

If normal improv and Harolds require a whole lot of attention and listening Anagram makes you, the improviser, really need to speed up your brain and record info in a way I’ve personally never experienced before.

Just like filming in slow motion, you need to speed the filming (crank it yo) so that more stuff gets recorded each second so, when played back normally, it looks in slow motion- This is the same but for improv and your own brain + all the other normal improv challenges.

Party boat

I got to share with my family on a party boat for my cousin’s graduation celebration/mother’s day. Thankfully my grandma could travel to TX from Caracas and I could make it to TX too (and surprise her here, it was hard to keep the secret)

At first the boat seemed like a floating platform with a middle table and nothing to it and the river/lake seemed dry but then it was of the most fun I’ve had with my fmaily (and cousin’s friends).

This is a picture of my cousin Carolina and me, we were born 5 month apart and are close friends, she lives in San Francisco now.

Life is awesome sometimes. 

I get insomnia, this happens. I think of horrible people who might exist and wonder what they’d do.
