Hello humans, happy Monday.
I am thrilled to to invite you to be a part of a show a group of super talented writers and myself will be putting up on *February 7th at 6:30pm at the UCB Theatre* a show like we’ve never done before:
The Johnny Carson Show Starring Veronica Osorio
(has nothing to do with Johnny Carson) is a late night talk show from the perspective of a young-adult female with live music by my sidekick the sassy Eric Gersen, monologue jokes, desks bits, sketches and real interviews to people (who live and work in this city but are not performers).
We’re very lucky to be directed by Brandon Gulya. And the five staff writers Colin Elzie, Madalyn Baldanzi, Nathan Min, Eric Gersen and Georgie Aldaco and the two head writers Brandon and me, are currently writing/selecting the best show we can (and will do every month in the case of a run) which is awesome, scary and incredibly exciting. Adrenaline is running high.
Come to the have fun with us as we try out odd bits, weird jokes and build our late night packets. It’s gonna be great fun to host and interact with the audience. I’m hosting but each writer will cast their bit so we’re gonna have awesome performers onstage and surprises for sure.
