From FIPS comes this insane story that ALL (literally, every single one) of the amazing employees at Gorilla Coffee on 5th Avenue handed in their written resignations late last night, rendering the coffee shop closed this morning (and presumably causing a meltdown among the hip,…
Wow! This is EXACTLY what I’ve been talking about for a long time.
All employees from around the same city or town or country or even world that are not happy with their jobs or employer would all quit at the same time on a specific day.
This would allow the employers to realize they’re doing something [or everything] wrong, even if they’re blind self-centered rude jerks the fact that everyone quit would open their eyes and teach them a lesson, not because they’d listen but because you’d be hurting their business.
But also there will be a bunch of positions available so you would be able to find a new job relatively quickly. If you find a new job that opened from someone else quitting because of their horrible employer you can always call this out before taking this new job and make sure that this new boss knows you know.
I think things will be easier and more honest and also the fear of unemployment would reduce immensely
If you don’t know the work of Ari Scott you are missing out.
This lady is amazing, she’s a funny funny writer on a UCB Maude Team Thunder Gulch and also she’s the author of my headshots (and many other’s) this picture is from an album called 365 Days. It is incredible, super dynamic and it makes me feel like I, somehow, know Ari better as a person yet some mystery remains, which is an ideal thing in an artist’s work, in my opinion.
If you’ve been following current events you may be aware of China’s opposition to Google’s decision to end its censoring of search results in the country—unfortunately, they’re exchanging one form of censorship for another: The Chinese Ministry of Culture has refused permission for Bob…
Interesting in so many levels. It made me aware of how little I know about the whole world but also… how does one keep track of it all AND your own life and people around you? Not good at it
